Alecia Murphy

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, JAY, OKLAHOMA, 918-253-3222. Alecia Fay Murphy, 59 year old Eucha resident, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019.  Alecia was born in Tulsa, OK on July 8, 1959 to Charles and Margaret (Armstrong) Wokison.  She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerry Murphy, on April 4, 1976.  Together they raised 3 children.  Alecia loved spending time with her family and those she welcomed as family.  She worked 25 years as a nurse and enjoyed watching her hummingbirds.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jerry Murphy, children: Shannon Paxton and husband Warren of Grove, OK, Chuck Murphy and wife Sandra of Guthrie, OK, and Brett Murphy of Grove, one sister Marty West, 6 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.  Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the New Eucha Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook page.
