Anna Kay "Katie" Lowder-Rodriguez

Anna Kay “Katie” Lowder-Rodriguez, 72, of Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away on December 30, 2023, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, on December 14, 1951, to Bill G. Lowder and Pamela (Dowlen) Lowder.

Katie was creative and had an eye for detail, which made her career as a photographer a perfect choice for her.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Juan. On their trips, Katie would insist on traveling out of their way to find the best places to take the perfect pictures. Katie enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts and had a huge heart for animals, especially her 7 dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Katie is preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Pamela Lowder; and her brother: Ray Lowder.

Those left to cherish the memory of Katie include her husband: Juan Rodriguez; her sister: Gloria Lowder; her sister and brother in-laws: Mirta Hallett and husband, Jim, Rudy Rodriguez, and Lonnie Rodriguez and wife, Paula; and her close friend: Jona Martin.
