Aronda "Sue" Inman

Aronda “Sue” Inman, 84, passed from this life into eternal rest at the Ascension St John Nowata Hospital on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Sue was born on September 30, 1938, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Jack Inman Sr. and Elaine (Hobbs) Inman.

Sue lived in the Nowata area her entire lifetime. She attended Nowata High School, graduating in 1956. Sue worked in farm services as the secretary in the ASC office for many years. In her free time, Sue enjoyed going to rodeos, watching pony pulling, attending events at the fair building, and going to rodeo playdays. She loved horses and liked to go riding whenever she had a chance to. Sue also enjoyed shopping and Braum’s hamburgers.

Sue was known to be a direct and sincere person. At any given time, Sue was not afraid to “tell it like it is” and speak her mind, which many of the closest people to her truly loved about her. Sue’s philosophy about people driving her car was “If you drove her car and you got a ticket, you were the one that would be paying for the ticket.” Sue will be missed by all that knew her.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents: Jack Inman Sr. and Elaine Inman and her husband: Marion “Sonny” Parrett.

Those left to cherish the memory of a wonderful woman include: her brother, Jack Inman; her sister-in-laws: Barbara Parrett and Pat Parrett, her aunt: Georgia Sawyer; her niece: Julie Hollenbeck, her nephew: Jack Inman, along with other family members and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
