Arthur Sager

Arthur Leonard “Sonny” Sager, 85 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Monroe Manor.

Sonny was born in Grove, Oklahoma, on November 21, 1934 to Leonard Ralph Sager and Sarah B. (Gregory) Sager.  Sonny never met a stranger and was friends with everyone.  In his younger days, Sonny would ride his bike all over Jay.  He enjoyed building bird houses and drinking root beer.  He attended Jay First Baptist Church.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his brother Luther Sager and his wife Wanda of Adair, Oklahoma, his nephew Norman Sager of Adair, Oklahoma, niece Gayle Clanin and her husband Marc of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and great niece Emma Sager of Adair, Oklahoma.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5PM – 7PM, Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma.  Sonny will be laid to rest in the Duffield Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley-Luginbuel Facebook page.
