Betty Baumann

Betty Dean (Smith) Baumann was born in Long Beach, California on August 21, 1955 to Chester M. Smith who was born in Cedar Springs, Missouri and to Helen (Long) Smith who was born in Etterville, Missouri. She graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach, CA and lived most of her life in Southern CA before moving to Missouri and then Oklahoma a few years ago. Betty is preceded in death by her partner James "Jim" McNeely. Survivors include her sister Karen Wainscott of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, her nephews John C. Spear, III, Jerry C. Spear, and Jason C. Spear along with great nieces and nephew Shannon, Rebecca, Kaitlyn and Joshua Spear all of Southern California, her ex-husband George Baumann and numerous cousins, family and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday May 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home, in Jay, Oklahoma with Reverend Gary Bishop officiating. Final internment will be in Whittier, CA at Rose Hills Cemetery near her parents. A graveside service will be conducted there.
