Beverly Hughes

Grove, OK - Beverly Sue Hughes, 68, died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on March 13, 1941 to Wilson and Lucille (Sharp) Lowry in Jay, Oklahoma. Beverly married Dale Hughes on December 31, 1981. She worked as a Certified Medical Aide for Guinn Nursing Home in Jay. Beverly enjoyed bowling, growing flowers especially violets, country western music and her kids and grandkids. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Grove. Survivors include her husband Dale of Grove; her children Rick Dozier and wife, Jamie, Jeff Dozier and wife, Nanette, Steve Dozier and wife Renae all of Grove, Brenda Streif and husband, Mike of Wichita, KS; two stepchildren, Theresa Osborn and Nanette Hughes both of Manteka, CA; siblings, Donna Martino and Jerry Lowry both of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Joshua & Brittni, Tyler, Brandon, Jeremy, Amanda & Dalton, Zach & Dani, Amber & Chris, Kaylee,Hayley, Hannah, Ian, and Brock; great grandchildren, Alexandria, Isabella, Mazie, Zerrick, Braelyn, Noah, Brody, and Teagan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Grove with Pastor Randy Hamill officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Jay, OK. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
