Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555.... Beverly Anne Pope, 62 year old Claremore resident, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 11, 2016. Beverly was born in Fort Smith, AR on June 3, 1954 to William "Beck" Shawnee and Elsie Marie (Reavis) Shawnee. She enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo, drawing, painting, and was proud of her Indian heritage. Most of all, Beverly will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. She loved caring for others and was a wonderful mother and grandmother not only to her own children but to all who entered her home. Survivors include her daughters: Cindy Riley and husband Michael of Barrington, New Hampshire, and Jennifer Grimsley and husband Thomas of Collinsville, OK, siblings: Lynnie Shawnee of Afton, Linda "Soupy" Willis of Vinita, Mark Shawnee of Lincoln CA, and Keith Shawnee of Vinita, grandchildren: Christian Vail, Katelyn Powell, Allyson Powell, Makayla Grimsley, and Madison Grimsley, her two best friends: Connie Davis and Betty Lawhorn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Clark Vernon Shawnee, Richard Shawnee, Curtis "Buzz" Shawnee, Lou Shawnee, and Billie Marie Chism. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Shawnee Cemetery in White Oak. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
