Billy DeWayne Dick was born July 16, 1967 in Claremore, OK to Jacquelyn Dick. He was 53 years old. Billy passed away at his home on August 28, 2020 from an extended illness. He was a lifetime Vinita Resident.
Billy married Ruby McClain August 29, 1992 in White Oak, Oklahoma. He worked for Home of Hope, his favorite job was when he worked for Al's Moving. Billy loved to travel and meet new people. He never met a stranger, anywhere he went he would find someone to talk to. Billy loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas, his favorite was Halloween. Billy was a member of BACA for a while. He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics while working for Home of Hope. He enjoyed bike rallies, karaoke, going to concerts with his kids, fishing, demolition derbies and family get-togethers, and he loved spending time with Delylah. Delylah was a big part of his life, and a great caregiver to him. He enjoyed watching wrestling with the boys and even enjoyed going to a few live shows with them.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother; little brother, Donald Ray Dick; aunts, Linda Chandler, Mona McCoy; uncles, Lambert Hayworth and Anthony Dick. He is survived by his wife of the home; four children, Jeannie and Matt Mahaffey of Neodesha, KS, Robert Dick of the home, Brittiny Dick of McCloud, Aaron and Jennifer Dick of Vinita; granddaughters, Blake and Jessica Mahaffey, Delylah Dick, Adilyn Dick; grandsons, Trevar Woodward, Tuff Mahaffey, Lil Trevor Rogers-Dick; sisters, Ladonna Morrison of Vinita, Ruby Dawn Dick of Missouri; uncle, Bill Dick of Illinois; nephews, Lance, Micheal and Donavan Matteri, Clayton, Ethan, Mark and Dallas McClain; nieces, Cassie Cargle, Teri Courtois, Lori and Presley McCain, and two special friends of the home, Keith and Victor Matteri.
There will be a memorial service Friday September 4, 2020 at 4:30 pm in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Ramsey officiating. There will be a Pot luck dinner afterward at the American Legion.
