Billy Ivey

Billy Dean Ivey, 35 year old Vinita resident died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Billy was born June 11, 1975 in Pryor to John William Ivey and Billie Diane (Keller) (Ivey) Parman. He was a graduate of Vinita High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. Billy enjoyed Rock Climbing, hanging out with his friends, landscaping and keeping up with the Hornet wrestling teams. He attended church at Cowboy Junction. The family includes: his daughter, Abigail Ivey of Vinita, his mother Diane Parman and step-father, Ben, his father, John Ivey of Jay, his grandmother, Therma Keller of Vinita, a sister, Sherrie Whitson and husband Jeremy of Benice and brother Kelly Ivey of Vinita. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cowboy Junction west of Vinita. Interment will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery near Pensacola.
