Billy J. Webb, age 88 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at his home.

Billy Jeff Webb was born on February 5, 1930 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was the son of Willy Webb and Betty Lucille (Thompson) Webb. He was raised in Poteau where he attended school, graduating with his senior class.

In February of 1951, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He spent his Army career in Dothan, Alabama. He received his Honorable Discharge on February 26, 1953. At that time he had achieved the rank of Sergeant. During his lifetime, he had lived in many cities, such as Bartlesville, Kansas City, Kansas and Chicago, Illinois.

Billy and Nancy Joyce Graff were united in marriage on February 18, 1951. At that time, Billy was still a member of the military and the couple made their home in Dothan, Alabama. Prior to his death the couple had been married for 67 years.

Billy was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company for many years. At the time of his retirement, he was manager of the Transportation Center in Bartlesville for Phillips Petroleum Company. Billy was a member of the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church in Bartlesville where he served as a service elder. He was active in the community, doing volunteer tax preparation for low-income families for 20 years. He was also a Junior Achievement Leader. Billy enjoyed golf, hunting and playing games with his grandchildren. He and Joyce traveled to Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Japan and India. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma football. He was an avid investor and enjoyed keeping up with the stock market. He loved his family and took them on many family vacations.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy "Joyce" Webb of the family home; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Mark Meese; grandson and wife, Zachary and Mary Anna Clay; granddaughter and husband, Kristin and Justin Aylett; grandson, Ryan Meese; granddaughter and husband, Abbe and Brendan Lee; great-grandsons, Cedar Clay, Liam Clay, Zeke Clay and Oliver Clay; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Clay; great-grandsons, Hudson Lee and Nolan Lee; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Charles Fulks; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Willy Webb; his mother Lucille Webb Bruce; his step-father, E. M. Bruce; daughter, Susan Clay; grandson, Isaac Clay; and great-grandson, William Clay.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Billy's name be sent to Tuxedo Missions Program, c/o Tuxedo Assembly of God Church, 3503 Tuxedo Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006

Services for Billy were held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
