Bob Cabell Moseley, 81-year-old Nowata resident, passed away December 31, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born February 5, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas to Robert Henry and Ida Millicent (Griffin) Moseley. The family moved to Lenapah in 1946 when Bob was three.
Bob attended Lenapah Schools and was active in FFA. He graduated from Lenapah High School with the class of 1961. After graduation, Bob began to work in the oil and gas industry on the pipeline. Bob dedicated 21 years to the oil and gas industry working for several companies as a heavy equipment operator and bending engineer. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union.
In 1982, Bob went to work at Phillips petroleum for Don Wollet Painting. In 1994, he bought a dairy farm and operated it along with Moseley’s Trading Post until it was sold in 1999, and he moved to the lake.
Bob is survived by his children, Debbie Graham, James Robert Moseley, Sharon Schatz, Janet Bowman, and Shawn “Puncher” Moseley; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Mick Moseley; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; his parents, Robert and Ida; brother, Roger Moseley; and sister, Sally Jo Murphy.
