Bobby Jean Ford

Bobby Jean Ford, 79-year-old Nowata resident, passed away August 20, 2024, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville. Bobby was born August 16, 1945, in Strang, Oklahoma to Henry and Edna (Horton) Thompson. She attended NEO where she received her degree in nursing.

Bobby spent a career as a nurse. She was passionate about helping people in their time of illness. In addition, she loved to cook. Thanksgiving was a big deal for Bobby, and she thoroughly enjoyed having her family over for a big meal together. Bobby also enjoyed traveling and took many road trips with her ex-husband who was a truck driver.

Bobby is survived by her son, Chris Seale of Nowata; grandchildren, Lucus Maggard and wife Margarita of Bartlesville, and Joe Seale and wife Cheyenne of Nowata; and great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Sumiaya, and Niko.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Toni Seale; and sisters, Joyce Thompson and Sue Nell Thompson.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 30, 2024 in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jeffrey Rickman officiating.
