Bonnie Little

July 31, 1940 — December 13, 2009

Bonnie Jean Little, 69-year-old Delaware resident, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Osage Nursing Home in Nowata. Ms. Little was born July 31, 1940 in Delaware, Oklahoma to Ralph Little and Nancy Ann Corbin-Little. She grew up and attended schools in Delaware and later attended the Tri-County Tech Food Services program. She worked as a cook for the Delaware Schools and for the Nowata Nursing Center. Ms. Little was a homemaker in every sense of the term. She loved her children and grandchildren. She coached her son's baseball teams and was active in church activities. Ms. Little is survived by four sons, Frank West of Delaware, Elmer West of Delaware, Jim West and his wife Tina of Delaware, and Wayne West of Cordell, Oklahoma; by two sisters, Mary West of Delaware and Verna West of Delaware; and by 6 grandchildren, Buddy West, Jeanann West, Brandon West, Jared West, Seth West, and Taylor West. Ms. Little was preceded in death by her parents; by one brother, James Little; and by one sister, Jessie Irons. Graveside funeral services for Ms. Little will be held at 2:00p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata with Rev. Tom Tanquary officiating. The family has asked those who wish to make a memorial contribution in memory of Ms. Little, remember the Delaware Fire Dept.
