Braden Oakley Baker was born December 27, 2016 at St. Francis in Tulsa Oklahoma to Kyle Baker and Sharon Miller. Braden fulfilled his divine purpose in life and touched many people from all over the country with his contagious smile and his miraculous existence. Braden’s work on Earth was done and he went home to be with Jesus on Feb 26th, 2020 at St. Francis in Tulsa, following a brief illness. Braden was born with 2 rare medical conditions; Joubert Syndrome and an Occipital Encephalocele. It was predicted by the medical doctor’s that he would not live at birth; but should he live he would have such devastating brain abnormalities that he would be in a vegative state and have no personality. He spent the rest of his life defying the odds and proving doctors wrong, showing the world that miracles do happen and living life to the fullest. And making people smile. He loved riding Merry Go Rounds, Swinging, Going for Walks to the Park, Ice-cream, and he loved sitting on his “Gramsey’s” lap and having books read to him.
He is survived by his parents Kyle and Sharon of the home in Vinita. His Paternal Grandparents Rob Baker of Marshfield Missouri & Cheri Ramsey Baker of Vinita. Maternal Grandparents Mark & Bonnie Miller of Muskogee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his Great Grandmother’s Merla Ramsey of Vinita & Glenda Miller of Pennsylvania, Also surviving are his host of Aunts & Uncles; Michael Gray of Miami, OK. Mark Foulk of Vinita, OK, Jacob & Zac Miller of Afton, OK, Chris Miller of Vinita. Aunts; Shawnee Miller of Rose, OK. Kristen and Kailey Baker both of Vinita, and a host of cousins and Friends. Braden touched many lives during his short time but he taught us all that miracles do really happen and a smile is an amazing tool for reaching out to others. He was truly a ray of sunshine and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
