Carl Hintergardt

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555, Carl Allen Hintergardt, 88 year old long time rural Bluejacket resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Craig General Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1927 in Ringwood, Oklahoma to Carl Henry and Elizabeth (Buller) Hintergardt. Allen attended school at Fairview, Oklahoma. He married Patricia Jane Burright on February 15, 1952 in Helena, Oklahoma. Allen ran cattle and had a cattle hauling business for many years, working at the area livestock auctions. He really enjoyed going to Welch and visiting with his many friends. Allen also enjoyed reading his Louis L'Amour western novels and going to cattle sales. Allen and Patricia have been on the farm in rural Bluejacket for over 53 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, Bobby Lee Hintergardt and a sister, Pauline Gosney. The family includes: his wife Patricia of the home, two daughters, Carla Abbott and husband Richard "Dickie", Diane Vancil and husband Dwayne all of Vinita; grandchildren, Melanie Frey and husband Leonard, Gregory Hintergardt, Cory Vancil and wife Shelby, Lindsay Pritchard and husband Rustin, Colby Vancil and Cherrish Abbott; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kaylee, Corina, Sheldon, Ava, Blake, Dawson, Reid, Kaybree, Zane, Karlee, Gentry, Bentley and Kelsee. The funeral service will be held, Monday, April 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Turner officiating.
