Carrie Lee (Weaver) Hyman, 78, passed away Monday, October 20, 2020, in Tulsa, OK. She was born in Borger, Texas on May 30, 1942, to Henry Weaver and Billie Jean Love. She attended and graduated from Diamond Point School. Carrie was united in marriage to Jerry Stone until going their separate ways. She later married David Hyman where they cherished their life together until his passing.

Carrie was a woman of many talents from painting houses to managing hotels. She did not hesitate to jump in to lend a helping hand when needed. She was known for cooking beans over an open flame fire and going on trial drives with her ponies Jigger and Nuggett. In her spare time, she tended to her hobbies of fishing, hunting, camping, playing pool, turkey shoots, and taking long drives. The most important thing to her was spending time with her family, friends, and spoiling the grandchildren. She loved her family unconditionally and will be missed by all who knew her.

Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Weaver and Billie Love, Jim and Mildred Weaver, her husband, David Hyman, two children, Russell Stone, John Stone, three siblings, James Weaver, Clara Weaver and Mildred Weaver..

Survivors include a daughter Beverly Maggard of Nowata, OK; siblings: Bobby Weaver of Vera, OK, Marvin Weaver of Bartlesville, OK, Theola Smith of Bartlesville, OK, Jim Weaver; four grandchildren: Melissa Martin and Jackie, Wayde Marshall, Luke Maggard and Margarita Brown, Cherokee Stone; four great-grandchildren; Jacob Martin and Nichole, Johnathan Martin, Samia Maggard, Nicko Maggard, one great-great grandchild: Easton James Martin (River),  six fur babies: Tucker, Spooky, Bobo, Tiny Inky, Momo, Muckers, one grand puppy: Mickey with and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020, at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel in Nowata, Oklahoma, with Tim Howell officiating.
