Cecil Woodrow Dingman, 55 year old resident of Lenapah, died Sunday, September 16, 2012. He was born April 24, 1957 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Kenneth Dingman and Phyllis (Whittenburg). He was a 1976 graduate of Caney Valley High School. Cecil married Lee Ann (Schumacher) on March 2, 1979 in Copan, Oklahoma. He was the ranch foreman for Big Creek Ranch near Lenapah. Cecil liked to rope and go to rodeos, especially to watch his children and grandchildren, he also enjoyed fishing for crappie. He loved his family and was very special to his grandchildren. The family includes: his wife, Lee Ann of the home, sons Troy Dingman and wife Braidie of Pryor, Matthew Dingman and wife Angela of California, Ryan Dingman and wife Stephanie of Dewey; his father Kenneth Dingman and wife Arva of Bartlesville, his mother, Phyllis Walker and husband Kenneth of Bartlesville; sisters, Susan Powers and husband Dar of Edmond, Donna Metcalf and husband Louis of Broken Arrow; eight grandchildren, Mallorie, Payton, Sydney, Wyatt, Dax, Owen and Hayden Dingman, and Anna Compton. The graveside funeral will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Welch Cemetery, with Rick Yocham officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
