Charles Hankins

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita.....918 - 256 -5555 Charles WIlliam Hankins passed away June 28, 2017 at the age of 79 in Oklahoma City, OK in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. He was born April 20, 1938 in Kingman, KS the son of Frank Edward Hankins and Edith Grace (Lam) Hankins. His family moved from Kingman, KS to Westville, OK and on to Vinita OK when he was twelve yeras old. He went to school in Vinita and graduated from Vinita High School in 1956. After graduation Charles served his country in the US Army for three years. He met and married the love of his life Judy Daniels on July 20, 1962. Charles and Judy have lived their entire life together in Vinita, OK where they raised their son Jeff. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and three brothers Richard, Milton and Jim Hankins. Charles is survived by his wife Judy of the home Vinita. One son Jeff Hankins and wife Angela of Piedmont, OK Two granddaughters Ashlee and Alexa Hankins of Piedmont, OK One sister Violet Crowder and husband Bill of greely, CO Three sisters-in-laws Wanda Hankins and Belle Daniels of Vinita, Sharon Baty of Grove. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Vinita, OK On-line condolences may be submited to www.honoringmemories.com
