Benjamin Funeral Service, Nowata, Okla. (918) 273-2700***Charles Elmer Lundy, 72, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born April 9, 1945 in Longview, Texas to George and Pauline (Nunn) Lundy. Charles moved to Lenapah, Oklahoma in 1951 where he attended Lenapah High School. On March 15, 1966, he married the love of his life, Carol Sutherlin. Charles worked at Funk Manufacturing in Coffeyville, Kansas where he was a machinist, he retired on July 1, 2003. Charles was an active member of the Lenapah Lions Club in Lenapah, Oklahoma; Edna Saddle Club; GWRRA Chapter in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Gold Wing Road Riders Assn. Charles loved being outdoors whether it was riding his motorcycles, traveling, hunting, fishing or boating. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Charles had many friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline Lundy, and one granddaughter, Kristin Lundy. Charles is survived by his wife, Carol Lundy of the home; two children, Curtis Lundy and his wife Teresa of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Kenny Lundy of Nowata, Oklahoma; two brothers; George Lundy Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas, Gerald Lundy of Bartlesville Oklahoma; two grandchildren; Ashley Warburton and her husband Aaron of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Bradley Lundy of Edna Kansas.
