Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita (918) 256 - 5555 -------Christie Y. (Morris) Lewis, age 48 of Vinita and formerly of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Vinita. Christie was born in Tulsa on July 13, 1966 to her parents James and Tommie (Kirk) Morris. Christie grew up in Tulsa and graduated class of 1984 from Tulsa Webster High School. She was a devoted mother and she loved her daughters. Christie always enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and she will be missed very much. Christie is survived by her parents; her two daughters, Meagan Lea Ready and her husband Jesse of Tulsa; and Taylor Nicole Fahnestock also of Tulsa; two brothers, Keith Stayer of Tulsa; and Mark Morris and his wife Kim of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends. There will be a Graveside service 2:30 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the White Oak Cemetery in the White Oak Community southwest of Vinita.
