GROVE - Christopher William Jackson, 55, died at 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. Christopher was born November 17, 1952 in rural Grove, Oklahoma to William Neal and Sarah Elizabeth (Willhite) Jackson. Christopher was a heavy equipment operator for a pipeline company. Christopher had lived in Joplin for the last 12 years. Christopher was preceded in death by one brother, Sherman Jackson and one sister, Phyllis Jackson. Survivors include one son, Anson Jackson and his wife Alex of Wyandotte, OK; one daughter, Tracy Johnson and her husband Terrel of Vinita, OK; four grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Jackson and his wife Carolyn Sue of Grove, OK and Larry Jackson and his wife Cathy of Big Cabin, OK; two sisters, Juanita Husong and her husband George and Dorcas Brewer and her husband Cephus both of Grove, OK. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. The funeral service for Christopher William Jackson will be Monday, March 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Delaware Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Jinks officiating and Larry Jackson assisting. Burial will follow in Zena Cemetery, Zena, OK. Pallbearers will be Kevin Jackson, Keith Jackson, C.J. Brewer, Tim Jackson, Rob Jackson, Darrell Dollarhide, and Lee Dollarhide. The family suggests memorials to the Christopher Jackson Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
