Claude Amos, Sr.

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME - JAY, OKLAHOMA - 918-253-3222. Claude Gene Amos Sr. 78 yr. old resident of Stroud, Oklahoma passed away on May 20th, 2019 at the Stroud Hospital.

Claude was born on February 23, 1941 in Colcord, Oklahoma. He was the son of Harry and Lucille Amos who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a son Sheldon Amos and a sister Sue Hurt.

Claude is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie January Amos. His two sons: Claude Gene Amos, Jr and wife Lori of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Clayton Amos of Stroud, Oklahoma. One grandson: Chad Amos and Jennifer of Kingston, Oklahoma. Two Granddaughters: Christa Farley and husband Scott of Carney, Oklahoma and Tara Holzkamper and husband Steven of Gentry, Arkansas. One great-grandson: Aiden and five great grand-daughters: Allie, Aundrea, Jada, Macie and Kenzle. Three sisters: Billie McClain and husband John of Kansas City, Missouri, Irene Bishop of Colcord, Oklahoma and Nancy Waller and husband Jim of Branson, Missouri.

Viewing will be on Friday, May 24th from 10:00-11:30 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK followed by graveside services at 2:00 pm at the Dickson Cemetery in Maysville, AR north of Cherokee City, AR with Mr. Mike Ellis officiating.
