Claude Harrison Rainwater Jr., better known as “Harry or Fuzz” went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in Nowata, OK. Harry was born February 24, 1927 in Lawrence, KS to Annette Bell Clements and Claude Harrison Rainwater Sr.,
Harry grew up at Coodys Bluff with his folks. He received his education from Nowata High School and decided to further his education at Coffeyville Community College. On February 27, 1948, Harry married the love of his life Lucretia Tatum “Lucy” in Nowata, Ok and made their home there. Harry Jr. started his career with Phillips 66 right out of college. He was a supervisor over the print shop for many of years and later retired from Phillips 66 at age 58 after thirty five years of service. He was a member of the First Church of God Harry has been in the Osage Nursing Home since 2013. He was a member of the First Church of God. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and taught his kids and grandkids to be good sportsmen. Harry is one of a kind and had a heart of gold that loved his family, friends unconditionally and will be missed by all who knew him.
Papa Harry was a hero to his children and grandchildren. He was respected and admired by all who knew him. Harry has three children Claude Arron Rainwater and wife Peggy of Nowata, OK, Mary Jeanette Alexander and husband Big John Alexander of Nowata, Ok, Karen Grace Rainwater of Nowata, Ok. Harry has seven grandchildren: John P. Alexander II, Joseph Paul Alexander, Christy Horner, Brook Davis, Shauna Parrish, Jessica Ferguson, Lucas Floyd and eleven great grandchildren.
Harry Jr. is preceded in death by his wife Lucy the love of his life, his parents Annette Bell Clements and Claude Harrison Rainwater Sr., one sister: Susan Robertson and a best friend in life’s adventures Glen O. Royer.
