Dale Terwilliger

Dale Jean Terwilliger, age 59 of Vinita, died Thursday August 13, 2009. Dale was born in Charleston, IL the daughter of Delbert and Anna (Stout) Hoover. Dale enjoyed many things in life especially her children, grandchildren, and her dog Rosie. Throughout her life she was a Sunday school teacher in Indiana, a race car driver, a truck driver, ran her own beauty shop at her home, and was a ham radio operator. She was a fan of John F. Kennedy and enjoyed doing genealogy and spending time on her computer. Dale is preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Anna Hoover, daughter Jamie Terwilliger, and son Jeffrey Terwilliger. Survivors include her partner Denise Veteto of Vinita, son James Terwilliger and wife Shelly of Vinita, daughter Jeanette McCleery and husband Mick of Fairland, son Joe Terwilliger and wife Rebecca of Vinita, son Josh Terwilliger of Vinita, and daughter Jody also of Vinita, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one sister Kathy Friend of Peoria, IL. Memorial services for family and friends will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday August 23, 2009 at the home of James Terwilliger with Pastor Tommy McGlasson officiating.
