Funeral services for Danny Ray Barnett are 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Hillside Christian Church with Van Longbons officiating. Interment will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Benjamin Funeral Service. Danny Ray Barnett, 56, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born March 5, 1961 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Douglas Martin and Melba Irene (Parrish) Barnett. Danny was a 1979 graduate of Sooner High School, in Bartlesville. On June 28 1986 he married Kathy Aderton in Dewey, Oklahoma. He worked as a welder for over 34 years. Danny enjoyed riding horses, hunting and fishing and dancing. He loved his children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball. Danny had many friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Melba Barnett and four brothers, Rodney Foster, Rory Foster, Russell Foster, Roger Foster. Danny is survived by his father, Douglas Barnett; two children, Corey Barnett and wife Cindy of Claremore, Oklahoma, Lacey Barnett and husband Brandon Brown of Nowata, Oklahoma; siblings, Diane Fields and husband Michael, Kay Owens, Carla Sykes and husband Terry, Rick Baker and wife Leah; eight grandchildren, Sebastian Brown, Kaytlyn Barnett, Jaden Barnett, Brayden Dawson, Skiler Barnett, Peyton Dawson, Jase Brown, Aurora Brown.
