Darlene Mcguire

Darlene McGuire 69 year-old Vinita resident died at her home on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 after an extended illness. She was born on April 4, 1938 in Welch to Pete and Lahoma (Bullard) Park. Darlene was married to Jim D. McGuire on February 14, 1957; he preceded her in death on August 25, 1987. Darlene loved the outdoors, gardening, woodworking, cooking and working on her house. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Vinita. The family includes: her four children, Jackie D. McGuire and wife Diana of Miami, Terry L. McGuire and wife Lauren of Apple Valley, California, Pegi Fultz and husband Marcus of Broken Arrow, Billy Joe McGuire of Vinita and unofficial adopted son Mike Troxel of Paragon, Indiana. Two brothers, Delbert Park of Big Bear, California, and Joe Park of Wichita, Kansas, a sister Ilene Carr of Vinita, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, a sister in-law Jean Mitchell and husband E. L. of Vinita, a special friend Becky Snyder of Vinita. Others preceding her in death were her parents, a brother Dale Loller and a sister Mary Sue Lester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 16, 2007 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Woodall officiating.
