Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Daryle Raymond Spencer, 65 year old Miami, Oklahoma resident, passed away Friday December 4, 2015. Daryle was born on February 15, 1950 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to Hubert and Vesta "Irene" (Allen) Spencer. He was a 1968 Jay High school graduate. He graduated from NEO A&M and attended MSSU. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged with rank of E5. Daryle was an avid outdoorsman, whose primary passions were hunting, gardening, fishing and gigging. Above all he loved his family. Daryle married Cathy McGhee on June 1, 1969 in Jay, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Cara Lee Spencer, and two brothers Lee and Harold Spencer. Daryle is survived by his wife Cathy of the home; son, Aaron Spencer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; daughter, Meghan Spencer, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; Hailey, Ethan and Drake Spencer, brother; Archie Spencer of Kansas City, Missouri; and a friend he thought of as a brother, Barney Barnes, of Eucha, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Daryle will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 11, 2015 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Brother Larry Ellis will officiate. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Daryle's name to the local chapter of American Legion.
