David Melton

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, Ok. 918-256-5555....... David Joe Melton passed away on April 18, 2017 at Spavinaw, Ok. He was born on March 27, 1934 in Tulsa, Ok. the son of Glenn Edward Melton and Ruth Lenore (Hutchison) Melton. David was baptist by faith. He was a truck driver by trade and drove gas trucks. David was also a dispatcher for Bacon Trucking. He was preceded in death by his wife Polly J. (Ratliff) Melton, two sons David Glenn Melton and Paul Gregory Groden. He is survived by: one son Terry Melton and wife Mischele of Salina, Ok., two daughters Vikki Bush and husband Robert of Coweta, Ok., and Pam LaSyone of Spavinaw. David had eighteen grandchildren and Thirty great grandchildren. He has one brother T.J. Melton and wife Patsy of Marrieta, Ok. Private family services were held.
