David Scott

David Scott passed from this life on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK.

David Eugene Scott age 66 was born on June 5th 1954 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Roy Franklin Scott and Mildred Margaret Tate (Scott). He grew up in Nowata where he graduated from Nowata High School. He married his high school sweet heart Janie Arlette Brown (Scott) they were married for 44 years and raised two beautiful daughters Taliha and Elizabeth.

David was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He worked in the oilfields for many many years, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish especially with his grandchildren. David was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parent Roy and Mildred Scott, five brothers: Bill Scott, Robert, Howard, Roy Jr. and Hugh Carl Scott.

He is survived by his wife Janie Arlette Scott of Nowata, OK; his two daughters Taliha Dawn Spencer and husband Chris Spencer of Dewey, OK, Elizabeth Milann Scott and boyfriend Jeremy Koscelny of Nowata, OK; also his nephew who was like a son to him Kolten Levi Brown and wife Jessica Brown of Dewey, OK; four grandchildren: Alyssa Jade Seely, Kyle Dillan Seely, Piper Brooke Seely of Nowata, OK, Bianca Rose Spencer of Dewey, OK along with several nieces and nephews.
