Delltherese Young

Delltherese Marie Young, 66 year old Grove resident, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2020.  Delltherese was born in Los Angeles, CA on November 2, 1953 to Pleasant Porter Mike, Sr. and Jacqueline (Landrum) Mike.  She loved reading, fishing, music, and spending time with family.  Delltherese was also very funny, always cracking jokes and making others smile.

Survivors include her daughters Kristina Cotten and husband Kim of Muskogee, OK, and Trinette Scott and Sean Jackson of Washington D.C., 4 grandchildren: Amora Barner, Aiden Barner, Giovonni Peters, Georgio Peters, 6 great grandchildren, brothers: Pleasant Mike, Jr., Jon Mike, and Jack David Mike, her significant other Leo Young, and best friend Kathy Battle.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Elizabeth Mike, and granddaughter Odyssey Peters.
