Delores Ann "Dee Ann" Spradling, 46, life-long Grove resident, passed away in her home at 10:09 p.m., on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 after an extended battle with cancer. Dee Ann was born November 2, 1962 in Grove, Oklahoma to Jack and Carole (Hays) Crossley. She graduated from Grove High School. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation. She had held several jobs in the community including bartending, managing the former Tan ‘N Style, and department manager at Wal-Mart. She was a member of Group 33 Inc. and Friends and the Moose Lodge. Dee Ann was an outdoor person. She enjoyed motorcycle rides with her friends, mowing the yard, camping, and spending time with her family. On March 29, 1985, she married William "Skip" Spradling in Miami, OK. Together they had two daughters, Jennifer McPhetridge and her husband Chris and Heather Hull and her husband Mike all of Grove. She had four grandchildren who she loved dearly, Coby, Logan and Wyatt McPhetridge and Jadelynn Hull. Dee Ann is also survived by her parents, Jack and Carole Crossley of Grove; one brother, Jackie Crossley of Fairland, OK; one sister, Jeri Modesto of Newalla, OK; and her paternal grandmother, Hazel Bates of Grove. The family invites friends and family to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove.
