Dorothy Armstrong

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555 -- Dorothy Lee Armstrong, 79, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Southcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on December 24, 1934 in Coweta, Oklahoma. Mrs. Armstrong was a homemaker and loving grandmother. Dorothy married Jim Armstrong on June 26, 1960 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. She is survived by, her husband Jim of the home; sons, Randy Armstrong, Tom Kemohah and wife Terri of Vinita, Oklahoma; one daughter, Connie Miller of Yale, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Roberts and Nettie Jo Miller of Pawhuska; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death, were her mother, Eva Smith, a son Randy Lee Miller, two sisters, Barbara Thomas and Bertie Wylie. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Pawhuska Cemetery. Friends may give to the American Heart Association.
