Benjamin Funeral Service - Nowata, Oklahoma - 918-273-2700............................... Dorothy Florine Pattison, age 93, was born in Centralia, Oklahoma, February 5, 1923. On January 27, 2017, Florine entered heaven and into the loving arms of the love of her life, Cleo O. Pattison to whom she was married on August 1, 1940 and 69 years thereafter and predeceased her April 1, 2010. She spent her early married years as a homemaker and mother to her son born January 1, 1943. On April 6, 1943, her husband, Cleo was inducted into the Army Air Corp and she traveled with him throughout his military schooling to Texas, Arizona, and Florida until he shipped overseas. She awaited his return until December 11, 1945. They soon bought and operated a farm near Bluejacket, Oklahoma until 1953. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma when Cleo began work at Douglas Aircraft Company. She worked as a retail sales representative at several stores. Another son was born June 22, 1956. She was best known for her great smile, strong Christian faith and awesome culinary skills. Upon retirement, she and Cleo moved to Vinita, Oklahoma for a few years then to Nowata, Oklahoma where they were very active in their church. They eventually moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to be near their children. In addition to her beloved husband Cleo Pattison; she was predeceased by her parents, the Reverend Earl and Tinnie Beehler; three brothers, A.R. Beehler, Menzo Beehler, Marvin Beehler; two sisters, Alpha Banks and Fern Beehler. Florine is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Taylor and Ruby Hollingsworth; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Ronald and Gayle Pattison, Raymond and Karyn Pattison; four grandchildren, Angela Gardner, Ryan Pattison, Randy Pattison, Michael Pattison; five great-grandchildren, Abigail Pattison, Gracie Gardner, Brantley Gardner, Lyric Pattison, Kayden Pattison and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services for Florine are 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Reverand Gerald McGlaughlen officiating. Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery.
