Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Dwight LeRoy Kirkpatrick, 80 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma passed away at Integris Grove Hospital on August 30, 2018.
Dwight was born on January 8, 1938 in Haddam, Kansas. He was the son of Nigel and Margaret (West) Kirkpatrick. Dwight worked in the railroad industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, playing pool, dancing, hunting, fishing and gardening.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his wife Margie Jean Kirkpatrick of the home, his son, Mark Kirkpatrick of Kansas City, Kansas, his three step sons Kenny Wyrick of Miami, Oklahoma John Wyrick also of Miami, Oklahoma, Gene Chandler of Bluejacket, Oklahoma as well as his daughter Cynthia Statton of Orlando, Florida, a stepdaughter Kathy Wyrick of Afton, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Sixkiller Cemetery with Reverend John Foley officiating.
