Eddie Lee Bauman, 74, of Nowata passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born October 8, 1942 in Nowata to Edd and Iza Rosella (Cooper) Bauman. He attended Nowata School System. He worked as a certified butcher for many years as well as working in the oil fields as a driller, roustabout, and doing anything that was needed. Eddie also worked for Nowata County driving a dump truck for several years. On March 17 1976, he married Karen Holboll in Miami, Oklahoma. Eddie enjoyed coon hunting, fishing and noodling. He also enjoyed working with his dogs, horses, and mules as well as caring for his chickens. Above all Eddie loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all had a special place in his heart. He loved the time he was able to spend with his family. Eddie will truly be missed by his family and friends. Eddie is survived by his wife Karen of the home; six children, Eddie Wayne Bauman and hs wife Donna of Dewey, Oklahoma, Frankie Bauman of Dewey, Oklahoma, Pam Cook and husband Don of Dewey, Oklahoma, Paula Doran of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Tammy Hutchinson of Nowata, Oklahoma, Josh Bauman and his wife Mary Kay of Nowata; three siblings, John Friddle and his wife Bonnie of Nowata, Oklahoma, Joy Bauman of Nowata, Oklahoma, Mary Wilson and her husband Nelson of Nowata, Oklahoma; nineteen grandchildren, Eric, Michelle, Matthew, Marissa, Colton, Kylee, Chandler, Shelby, David, Matt, Caleb, Lucas, Jacqueline, Kelsie, Erica, Ryan, Emily, Katie, Hayden and fifteen great-grandchildren. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Iza Bauman; a son, David Bauman; two brothers, Jack Friddle, Devon Friddle; a sister, Chris Hamil and a granddaughter, Cheyenne.
