Edward “Ed” Eugene Nicholson, 65, of Lenapah, Oklahoma, passed away on October 27, 2023, at the Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born to Kenneth W. Nicholson and Violet J. Ed grew up and attended school in Lenapah, graduating from Lenapah High School in 1976. He went on to work at the foundry at Jencast in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Ed was a true and avid hunter. He enjoyed coon hunting and had a dog named “Blue” that won the title of “Grand Night Champion.” Ed also enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, and deer hunting. He really enjoyed being outdoors and his family all agree that Ed could have been a great mountain man. Ed will be missed by all that knew him.
Those left to cherish Ed’s memory include his parents: Wayne and Violet Nicholson, his sister: Ronda West and husband, Leonard; Julie Hook and Lexie, his sons: Kelsey Nicholson and Kyle Gillespie and wife, Bobi; his four grandchildren: Bryce, Myraih, Kayla, and Chase; along with other family members and friends.
I whispered in his ear, “Tell Sammy Fink “Hi” for us.”
