Elizabeth Ann Garrett, 76 year old Dewey resident died Sunday, November 27, 2010 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Elizabeth was born in Parsons, Kansas on March 26, 1924, to William K. Lindsey and Mary A. (Schlinkmeyer) Lindsey. She graduated from high school in Parsons Kansas. In 1954, Elizabeth married Marvin L. (Mike) Garrett in Miami Oklahoma. They moved to Dewey, Oklahoma in 1964 and she retired from Conoco Phillips in 1992 after 22 years of service. Elizabeth and her husband Mike were actively involved in their Church and she led her life with a strong Christian belief. She was a very positive and loving person that was proud of her children and grandchildren. When her and Mike were younger they enjoyed traveling together and hobbies included crocheting, reading (anything by John Grisham) and crossword puzzles. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters and her husband Mike in 1989. She is survived by two sons; Skip Garrett and his wife Whitney of Dewey, David Garrett and his wife Kristen of Bartlesville, one daughter; Susan Burdett and her husband Daniel of Bartlesville, three grandsons; Stephen, Drew, Nicholas; and one granddaughter Taylor.
