Eula Morris

Funeral services for Eula Morris, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Olympus Cemetery. Eula Jean Morris was born March 18, 1926 to Fred and Evelyn (Zimmer) Mills in Deer Creek, Oklahoma. She attended school in Grove, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1943. On November 8, 1946, Eula was united in marriage to Lloyd E. "Duke" Morris in Columbus, KS. They lived in several cities including Albuquerque, NM and later in Oklahoma City until 1990 when they returned to Grove. In 2000, Duke passed away and in around 2009 Eula came to live with her sister Mildred in Chamberlain, SD Her greatest love was music and playing her piano. Eula passed away on April 14, 2012 at Sanford Care Center in Chamberlain at the age of 86 years. Survivors include her sisters Josephine McFadin of Dallas, TX and Mildred Reniker of Chamberlain, SD; four nieces and nephews Allen McFadin, Monta Ponder, Jay Reniker, and June TenEyck; and a cousin Norma Halterman. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and her son Gregory.
