Euna Marie White Funeral services for Euna Marie White will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Nowata with Dr. Larry DeLay officiating. Burial will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Home of Nowata. Euna Marie White was born February 29, 1920, in Talala, Oklahoma, to James and Bertha (Bundy) Sweet. She died in Claremore, Oklahoma, Friday, August 11, 2006 after reaching 86 years, 5 months, and 12 days. In 1929 she moved to the creek between Talala and Watova. She was educated in Talala, and on November 17, 1937 she married Arlie Eugene White, in Nowata. In 1950 they moved to the farm on the Hill near Watova, where she lived until 1973, at which time she moved to Nowata. Euna was a member of the First Baptist Church and sang in the Golden Notes Choir. In 1999 she moved to Owasso. Preceding Mrs. White in death are her parents, James and Bertha White; husband, Arlie, brothers, Inman, Orlando, Mose, Eual, and Joe Sweet. Survivors include, two sons, Bryan White, and his wife Debbie, of Talala, Robert White, and his wife Kristen Johnson, of Sedona, Arizona; daughters, Arlene Lavender, and her husband, Dave, of Meridian, Idaho, Linda Latham, and her husband, Larry, of Grove, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
