Funeral services for Frances May Sanders are Friday, 10:00 a.m., April 6, 2012 at Hillside Christian Church in Nowata, Oklahoma with Van Longbons and Mark Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at the Relocated Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Frances May Sanders, 59, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012. She was born in Nowata, Oklahoma on June 16, 1952 to James David and Georgia (Lewis) Campbell. She was a graduate of Nowata High School, the class of 1970. Frances married Stephen Douglas Sanders on June 27, 1970 in Nowata. She attended the University of Oklahoma and obtained her Nursing Home Administrators License. Frances was the Administrator for Osage Nursing Home for over 20 years. She loved working with the elderly and was an advocate for them. She was a member of the Hillside Christian Church, past president of the Nowata Chamber of Commerce, and the NASSO Board. Frances loved the lake and many family memories of boating and spending time at the cabin on Grand Lake. She enjoyed cooking and making wedding cakes. Frances was a family person that loved her family very much and always had time to spend with them. She will be missed very much. Frances is survived by two children, Todd Sanders and wife, Sabrina and Kathrine Marrs and husband Tracy all of Nowata, Oklahoma; one sister, Cathy Malone of Nowata, Oklahoma; one brother, David Campbell of Nowata, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Austin Marrs, Addyson Marrs, Ashton Branstetter, Elise Branstetter, Tyler Branstetter, Roger Horner, Savanna Horner, Noah Sanders, and Graci Sanders; two great grandchildren, Riley Branstetter and Wrylan Horner. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, James Campbell and Georgia Page, her husband, Stephen Douglas Sanders, a grandson, Elisha Sanders, and a wonderful stepfather, Charles Page.
