Francis Cunningham

Francis "Frank" James Cunningham, Sr., 87, Nowata resident, died Friday February 13, 2009 in the Nowata Nursing Center. Frank served in the United States Navy and The Air Force in World War II and the Korean War. After his military service he was employed with the General Motors Company for 28 years as an electrician at several of the auto plants before retiring from the Oklahoma City Plant. Frank is survived by his children, James Cunningham, Frank Cunningham, Ronald Cunningham and Julia Martin, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, one brother Pat Cunningham. Franks is preceded in death by his wife Pearl Cunningham, parents, and one son William Cunningham. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February18, 2009 in the Chapel of the Benjamin Funeral Home with Mr. Ben Killion officiating. Burial will follow in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery.
