Francis Galway

Francis "Frankie" Galway Francis "Frankie" Galway died Friday May 12, 2006 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was 89. Frankie was born July 6, 1916 to John and Mary Agnes Galway at Boston, Massachusetts. She worked at the business office of New Jersey Bell Telephone in Boston as an office supervisor. She was president of Philo Matheia Club in Boston. Fankie married John Henry Galway, Jr. June 16, 1946 at Boston. She moved to Grove, Oklahoma from Ft. Collins, Colorado in 2000. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove. She enjoyed shopping, spending time at the Grove Senior Center, also an active member of the Democratic Party. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Rosemary Murphy. Survivors include three children: Cindy Fudge and husband Thomas of Grove, Ok., Allison Galway and husband Arthur of Blackburg, Va., and Jack Galway of Bridgewater, N.J. along with numerous nieces and nephews and s special friend, Rosalie Burner of Grove. A Memorial Mass was conducted 11:00 AM Monday May 15, 2006 at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, Ok. with Father Alex Kennedy officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alter Society at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Services were by the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Ok.
