Gene Marquette Fuller 73, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri on January 21, 2020. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma November 28, 1946 to John Thomas and Maudie V. (Johnson) Fuller. Gene attended Church at the Assembly of God Church and he enjoyed fishing, camping, watching movies, and driving his car. He also enjoyed horses and dogs. He loved nature and the outdoors. Gene had a great sense of humor and was known for being a practical joker. He listened to country music but most of all he loved his children and family. Gene will be missed by all who knew him.
Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Fuller; parents, John and Maudie Fuller, a brother, Allen Fuller, and three grandchildren. Survivors include five children, Pam Sparks and husband Craig of Miami, Ok., Connie Rainwater of Pryor, Ok., Michael Fuller of Strang, Ok., Mark Fuller of Wagoner, Ok., Katie Fuller of Wagoner, Ok.; step sons Lloyd Walles of Missouri, Bryan Miller of Inola, Ok.; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; siblings Susie Maytum and husband Claus, David Fuller, Debbie Fuller, Teresa Fuller; a nephew Terry Maytum; a niece Tammy McGehee; a very good friend Amanda Peterson; many other relatives and a host of friends.
