George Flanders

George E. Flanders passed away on July 22, 2020, in Hesperia, California. He was 88-years old.

George was born in Centralia, Oklahoma to Clara Costly Cox and Henry Delbert Flanders. A veteran of the Korean War, George lived a prolific life as a carpenter, bar owner, racing horse owner, and used car salesman. A true adventurer, George loved to travel and many of his fondest memories were abroad in places such as Costa Rica, Japan, and the Philippines. His empathy, shining smile, and kindness won him many close friends, and his skills with the shotgun won him many a night's dinner.

He is survived by his two sons, daughter and his sister.

A memorial service will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel.
