George Pullen Sr.

George William Pullen Sr. was born April 1, 1943, to Kenneth Lyal and Leona Lorine (Anders) Pullen, in Tahlequah. He passed from this life February 8, 2007, in Nowata. He was 63. George attended Webster High School in Tulsa. On August 16, 1993, he married Debbie Briggs in Bartlesville. They have made their home in Nowata since. Mr. Pullen was a boilermaker and enjoyed farming and fishing. His family was very important to him and he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Mr. Pullen in death are his parents, Kenneth and Leona Pullen; brothers, Jessy, Cecil, and Jimmy Pullen; and a sister Leona Clyma. Survivors include his wife Debbie, of the home in Nowata; children, George Pullen Jr., of Nowata, Debbie Miller, of Talala; step-children, Robbie Parrish, and wife Shauna, Amy Hicks, and husband Bobby, Amber Shambles, and husband Jody, all of Nowata; 8 grandchildren; brothers David, Danny and Kenneth Pullen; sisters Wilma Klapp, Mary Littlefield, Arlene Smith; many other relatives and friends.
