Georgia Prudance Peck Graveside funeral services for Georgia Peck will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2006, at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Georgia Prudance Peck was born October 18, 1917, in Nowata, to William A. and Barbary Allen (Kearns) Peck. She passed from this life May 5, 2006, at Nowata Nursing Center after reaching 81 years, 6 months, and 17 days. Georgia graduated from Nowata High School. She worked milking cows and did farm work all her life. She was a hard worker and never shied away from any work. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Miss Peck in death are her parents William and Barbary Peck. Surviving Miss Peck are a brother, Arthur Allen Peck, and wife Yvonne, of Tulsa; nieces, Ginny Paulseen, Nancy Callhan; nephews, Ronnie, Mark and Steven Peck, several great nieces and nephews; best and dearest friend, Terry Olmstead, and husband Joe, of Nowata; caretakers, Carolyn Stover and Sandy Lowe; many other friends and loved ones. Donations to 10-33 are suggested.
