Glen Allen Blackbourn, 59, Bartlesville resident passed away on April 29, 2021, with his family at his side.
Glen was born November 16, 1961, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to John Freedman and Alta Ruth (Floyd) Blackbourn. He was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK, with the class of 1980. He decided to continue his education at OSU with a major of Liberal Arts. He married Karen Gibbins on January 1, 2015, in Bartlesville, OK. He worked in the communication industry as a customer service representative. He was a very knowledgeable in computer tech. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors attending to the yard work, flower beds, and doing leather work. He always had a great sense of humor and a smile on his face. Glen had a special place in his heart for his family, friends, and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Proceeding Glen in death are his parents, John and Alta Blackbourn and one brother, Paul Blackbourn.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Blackbourn of the home; one son, Kristopher Blackbourn Riley of South Eastern, OK; three step children, Adam Yates and wife, Kathy of Bartlesville, OK, Becca Schumacher, and husband, Michael of Jenks, OK, Jared Yates of Bartlesville, OK, five step grandchildren: Destiny Prather, Hope Brayfield, Grace Brayfield, Zoe Brayfield, Isaac Yates; two step great grandchildren: Carston Prather and Amiya Prather; one brother, Rex Blackbourn of Tulsa, OK, nieces: Sarah Blackbourn, Lisa Reaves, Anna Blackbourn, many other relatives, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the Ball Cemetery in Childers, OK, with Chaplain David Hunter officiating.
