Gloria Scott

Jay, OK - Gloria Ann Scott, 73, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 4, 1937 in Miami, Oklahoma to Ray and Vera (Williams) Brashears. Gloria married Ralph Scott in Modesto, California in 2000. She owned Gillum Trucking from 1963 to 1995. Gloria drove for Modesto City Bus. She owned Treasure for You in Jay, raised miniature horses and enjoyed gospel music. Gloria was a member of House of Prayer in Jay. Survivors include her husband Ralph Scott of Jay, one son Butch Gillum of Jay, one daughter Atonda Turley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, one brother Leonard Ray Brashears of Miami, Oklahoma, one sister Edda Jean Adcocks of Caldwell, Idaho. Gloria is also survived by five grandchildren, Mychelle Teed, Meranda Gillum, Dale Gillum, Natasha Turley and Paul Turley and one great-grandson Nathaniel Turley. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at House of Prayer in Jay.
