Harold Henne

Harold Leroy Henne, age 85, Grove, OK. passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Grove Nursing Center.

He was born in Linn County Kansas, to the late Orville Ralph Henne and Hattie Irene Stuffings Henne.

Harold married Janet Nathiel Matkin, she preceded him on March 1, 1963. Additionally he is preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Briscoe; and a son in law.

Harold worked as a bus driver for over twenty –five years for Continental Trailways before retiring to Grove, Ok, after driving a truck for Crete Carriers.

He married Peggy Joyce Gallup August 16, 1968 in Kansas City MO. She survives of the home.

In  addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by one son, Ralph Henne and wife, Rebekah of Pleasant Valley, Missouri; one daughter, Audrey Cassidy of Sheldon, Missouri; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and a sister, Shirley Linn, Kansas City, Missouri.

A visitation for local family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Grove Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.  Then Harold will be transported to Butler Missouri, where there will be a visitation 5-7 PM, Friday, November 29, 2019 and funeral services 2PM, Saturday, November 30, 2019 both at Schowengerdt Funeral Home.  Harold will be laid to rest in the Hume Cemetery.
