Funeral services for Harry Alfred Sebert, JR are 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 22, 2016 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Harry Alfred Sebert, Jr. passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home in Nowata. He was born October 2, 1934 in Nowata to Alfred and Eva (Janzen) Sebert. He was educated in Nowata Schools graduating in 1953. On March 20, 1954 he married the love of his life Pansy Lewis in Nowata. He worked for Nowata county for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed being outside and mowing. He also enjoyed working on small engines. He was a very hard working man and worked until he was 80 years old. Harry was a fantastic roller skater. He and Pansy loved skating as a couple. He played roller hockey when he was younger and also enjoyed playing checkers with his grandchildren. Harry had a special place in his heart for his wife, children, grandchildren and family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Harry is survived by his wife Pansy of the home; three children, Twylla Turney and husband Mark of Bartlesville, Kenny Sebert and wife Vicki of Ochelata, Phillip Sebert and wife Rhonda of Nowata; a brother, Jerry Sebert of Hominy; nine grandchildren, Marcus Turney and wife Vera, Malina Justus and husband James, Melissa Morris and husband Jarrod, Raylynn Sebert, Kynna Sebert, Dalton Sebert, Carrie Badillo and husband Brad, Phillip Sebert, Jr. and wife Tammy, Casey Sebert and thirteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Eva Sebert and two brothers, Victor Sebert and Everett Sebert. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
